“Wiggling Pockets/ Los bolsillos saltarines” is part of the “My Family/Mi familia” bilingual series of books. It is about a little boy named Danny who has pockets full of frogs.
Cayden: “I think it was funny that he had frogs in his pockets when he came in the house! What if they would have gotten squished though? My favorite part was when they were jumping all over the house!”
Max: “It was funny that his pockets were wiggling! I want to put frogs in my pockets too! That was a lot of frogs he fit in there!”
Parent’s comments:
“Wiggling Pockets/ Los bolsillos saltarines” by Pat Mora is a great book for my two little boys. I loved the fact that the book is bilingual. We read it both ways and my children pick up a quite a few words here and there. I just hope they didn’t get any ideas about bringing frogs in the house!
