This is an excellent book about polar bears. I learned a lot of new things about them. Some of the new things I learned about polar bears are that they eat seals, fish and crab. I also learned that the ice is melting in the Arctic because of the carbon dioxide. I learned that there are many ways to stop using so much energy like riding your bike instead of driving a car. I think it’s sad that all the polar bears may die if all the ice melts.
The polar bear scientist is really funny and cute; he’s wearing glasses! The pictures are so good and the cover is cute too. My favorite picture is of the baby polar bear and her mother laying in the sun, stretching out on the ice to cool off.
I have always liked polar bears, but I like them even more now! I highly recommend “Where Do Polar Bears Live” by Sarah L. Thomson.
