Spunky Cat the Cat introduces her young readers to bedtime! A time when sheep the sheep, pig the pig, giraffe the giraffe and all the other animals need to go to bed! – all except one animal who sleeps at night?!? This cute story teaches your child that all living things need to rest and sleep, even if some of them are different and sleep during the day!
Madison: “All the animals go to bed, but owl! Owls sleep during the day. He was the only one awake at night. He didn’t have any friends to play with. I’m glad I sleep at night so I have friends to play with. It was good, great.”
Hailey: “sheep, a pig, oink! Giraffe, night night.”
Mom: The girls enjoyed this classic Mo Willems bedtime story. It was an easy, quiet night time story to help calm them down and ease them into bedtime. The book helps young children understand that everyone sleeps, even if they aren’t all sleeping at night! “Time to Sleep Sheep the Sheep!” was cute and fun. The pictures as always were wonderful. It actually feels like night time while you are reading it.
