In “Time to Say Goodnight” it is bedtime in the forest.  The book explores how all of the mother and father animals say goodnight to their young.

Cayden:  “All of the animal mommies and daddies tell their kids to stop playing when it is time to go to bed.  That is what you and daddy say to us too!  They do things like we do even though they are bears and squirrels and not people.  I liked when the pictures showed them all in the places that they sleep.”

Max:  “I liked the bears playing and the bunnies hopping!  I liked when they were cuddling and going to sleep.”

Parent’s comments:
“Time to Say Goodnight” by Sally Lloyd-Jones is a great bedtime story!  My children and I could completely relate to the animals’ bedtime routines.  Just like the animals, my boys always want to keep playing and not go to bed.  The illustrations are sweet and fun to look at.  This book has become a favorite nighttime book to read in our house and we highly recommend it!
