Zoey:
“That was a mean watermelon that was jealous of the other fruits. He tried to eat them all by tricking them into coming to play with him. That’s what happens when kids don’t like themselves and are mean to other kids. You shouldn’t let anyone be mean to you.”
Nana:
The “The Wicked Watermelon” is a beautifully illustrated book for kids, easy to read and understand. It helps children realize when someone is mean to them, they should tell someone so it stops.
