“The Story of the Nativity” celebrates the twenty-four days of Advent.  There is a page for each day containing a reading, a suggestion for how to celebrate Christmas on that day, and a Bible verse.  Along with the book comes a nativity play scene with reusable stickers.

Cayden:  “For Advent you are supposed to read each page and then do the thing it says to do (like draw an angel ornament).   But my favorite part was that you get a sticker from the sheet on every page and you get to put it on the board and make a picture.  You can move them around too if you change your mind about where you want to put them.  On one page it says to help somebody like giving a toy to a kid who doesn’t have hardly anything.  We do that, and we help at the Angel Tree to put the things that other people bought for the kids in the big box.  So we already will have that one done I think when we read this book again for Advent.”

Parent’s comments:

This is a really neat Advent book!  I love that there is a reading for each day and the reusable stickers and nativity play scene are wonderful.  The stickers are very sturdy and durable; they are a thicker cardboard which is made to last.  “The Story of the Nativity” would make an excellent gift for any young child to learn about the true meaning of Christmas!
