This is a beautifully illustrated book about Little Red Riding Hood, which is a bit different from the original tale.

Zoey:

“I liked the story except for the part of the wine. You shouldn’t let young kids read about drinking, it’s not good for you. The pictures were beautiful. Little Red Riding Hood is going to see her grandmother who is not feeling well. She meets the wolf and he tells her to go into the woods to pick flowers for her grandmother. Then he goes and eats the grandmother and when Little Red Riding Hood comes to the house he eats her too. A hunter cuts open his stomach so they both can get out of his tummy.”

Nana:

“The Story of Little Red Riding Hood” is a cute and beautiful illustrated story that has a different version of what Little Red Riding Hood was taking to her grandmother as she was sick. Zoey didn’t like the part about wine. Another version of the story was in the back, which I had to explain to Zoey. It was about not always listening to people as they sometimes take advantage of girls. It took some explaining to her.
