“The Frog in the Well” is a good book to read because if you want to try to start learning a new foreign language, it is also written in Chinese, not just English.  I thought that it was really cool to actually read a book in Chinese.  It was a little confusing because it was in a different language but once we started to read a little further I understood.

The story of “The Frog in the Well” was about a little frog that lived in a well.  He thought he was the best frog because he knew everything.  Then one day a sea turtle came to visit him.  The frog asked the turtle to come in the well but the turtle asked the frog why he didn’t go in the sea.  When the frog told the turtle he knew everything, the turtle told the frog there was a whole sea full of new things.  This taught the frog he had a lot of learning to do and that he wasn’t the smartest or the best.

At the end of the story, I wanted to read it again.  I thought “The Frog in the Well, by Irene Y. Tsai, was really cool.  Plus, it teaches a good lesson.
