“Tales For Your Monkey’s Mind” by Steve Michael Reedy is a book of stories that starts with a poem to a monkey. The monkey is invited to go on an adventure to faraway lands. Each land they visit has a separate story in the book and the stories all have lessons to be learned by the readers.

There is a story about a toy factory, a clown town, a town full of castles, and a story about a magical storybook. There is also a story about a witch that puts a spell on all the children in one town and another story about a girl that is looking for her happiness.

The stories rhyme a lot and that made it fun to read. Some of the stories have big surprises in them, like “The Wallerwood Toy Factory” and “The True Story of the First Magical Storybook in Averham.” At the end of every story, there is a clue that takes you to the next story in the book.

I really love the book “Tales For Your Monkey’s Mind” by Steve Michael Reedy. It will teach kids a lot, like how to have fun being a kid and don’t be in a hurry to grow up. I love all the pictures, too, especially the one on the cover with the monkey eyes. Love it!
