As Superman and Wonder Woman are at the White House receiving Congressional Medals of Honor for their service to the U.S., all of all sudden, Superman’s foe Brainiac appears. Brainiac’s special ability is that his mind functions like a supercomputer. He carries with him a shrink ray which he uses to shrink cities and add to his collection. Superman and Wonder Woman must protect and save Washington D.C. and the President!

Cayden: “This is the first book I read that had Wonder Woman in it. It was cool that Brainiac’s shrink ray can make things little, but I am glad that Superman and Wonder Woman were there to try and stop him. I liked when Superman got out of that holder when he was shrunk and when they hit the button to make him big again.”

Parent’s comments:

My son has really started to enjoy Super Hero books and being introduced to all of the different villains that the “good guys” are up against. He liked learning about Brainiac’s special abilities and tools. The storyline in this book was interesting and full of action. The comic book feel of the illustrations and text layout in “Superman: The Incredible Shrinking Super Hero!” by Zachary Rau make for a classic, authentic Superman reading experience.
