Splat the Cat is back once again in “Splat the Cat: Splat and Seymour, Best Friends Forevermore” by Rob Scotton. This time the story tells about Splat and his best friend Seymour, a little grey mouse, and their unbreakable bond of friendship. Well that’s what Seymour thought they had, but now for some reason Splat doesn’t seem to want to play with him anymore and completely avoids him! Did Splat finally get tired of him? If so what will happen to their friendship?
“Splat and Seymour, Best Friends Forevermore” is another cute story in the Splat the Cat series from Rob Scotton. With such lovable characters and fun stories this really is a series you’ll want to check out. The bond between Splat and Seymour is one that most young kids will be familiar with as they also have friends that they feel the same way about. But friends can’t always be around to play with and that’s okay, it doesn’t make them any less your friends. Sometimes people are just busy, or in this case throwing you a party, and don’t have time. Sure enough though if you are understanding and wait they’ll be back with you in no time!
This story will help kids of all ages realize more about being a friend. “Splat the Cat: Splat and Seymour, Best friends Forevermore,” by Rob Scotton is excellent for beginner readers, with short sentences and rhyming words that are easy to sound out. The story line is super fun for kids, which just makes reading fun.
