Cayden: “This book had a boy who didn’t like to read at all. He liked math and science but not reading. When the teacher read, he colored on his shoe instead of listening to her. Then one day things started coming out of the book and into his class! A ghost came and asked for a pencil sharpener! That was super funny. Other people came into the room too, from the books. Then the boy liked the books. My favorite thing that came out of the book was the pig.”

Parent’s comments:

“Read All About It!” is a creative story that my son really enjoyed. He liked thinking about things jumping off of the pages of books that we have in our bookshelf. We also started talking about all of the different places we have “gone” and things we have “seen” in books. I love that “Read All About It!” encourages literacy and that some of the proceeds of the book are going to Teach for America and The New Teacher Project.
