Cayden: “I liked learning about the different presidents. My favorite was the one who made the parks where the animals could live. I also liked when everyone went to vote. We went with you to vote and stood in line like they did. Can we go see the cliff with the pictures in it sometime?”
Parent’s comments:
My son thoroughly enjoyed learning about the different presidents in the book. The information was presented in a creative way that was both interesting and fun. I believe that “Presidents’ Day” by Anne Rockwell would be a perfect teaching aid to use in a classroom setting. In fact, I will be sending it to preschool with my son to see if the teachers would like to utilize it in their lesson plan since Presidents’ Day is only a few days away!
