“Peek-a-Boo, I Love You!” is a lift-the-flap board book. Each page shows a portion of a different animal hiding under or behind something with questions like, “Who’s that hiding under there?” and “Who’s that peeking out under the hay?” When the flap is lifted the full animal is revealed.
Max: “I like peek-a-boo! I lift the flaps and see animals!”
Cayden: “Peek-a-boo books are fun. I like seeing what is behind the flaps. Max needed help getting them open the first time but then it was easier to do because they were opened once. It is fun to guess what animals are behind there. I liked the smushy heart on the cover too!”
Parent’s comments:
The pages in “Peek-a-Boo, I Love You!” by Sandra Magsamen are sturdy and will definitely hold up to a toddler. The fabric squishy heart on the cover was also a fun added touch. Cayden went through this book with Max over and over again! It is a great book for an older sibling to “read” to a younger one.
