“Paddington Here and Now” is the little kid Paddington books put into a chapter book for big kids. Each chapter is a new story about Paddington the bear. Paddington is a bear who lives in London with the Brown family. For some reason that I didn’t understand they had a real live teddy bear living with them. He did all sorts of things to help out around the house and had his own adventures which I liked.
Paddington and his adventures remind me a little of the Amelia Bedelia character that I love. Both of these story people get themselves into trouble and have adventures every day because they don’t understand things and they take things literally.
I liked the adventures in “Paddington Here and Now” by Michael Bond and thought it was kind of funny when Paddington had things happen to him. But, I think the book was a little bit boring and slow sometimes.
