In this modern day of online technological communications, it can be difficult to navigate through the different websites and figuring out which websites are safe and how to act appropriately according to Christian behavior on these websites. Problems can occur especially on chatting networks such as AOL instant messaging, AIM, or websites such as myspace.com and facebook.com. This book can help the new middle school student or even younger kids to get through each day and to be safe online and to act appropriately online while also providing different passages of the Bible for reference and a prayer to help them talk to God.

This book was a devotional book about the Christian faith and intertwining everyday problems from school or life with quotations and passages from the Bible. The blogging format of the book made it easy to read and also made it unique and more interesting than other books that have been published on the same topic. It was a great idea to include a passage from the Bible and to also include a prayer that relates to that day’s topic and passage. It was also a good idea to include a way to solve the problem. I think that “Online with God” is best for religious education classes at a fourth or fifth grade level to possibly sixth or seventh graders. This book does a great job of connecting the Christian faith to online internet activities.
