What could be more fun than going to Grandma and Grandpa’s house on vacation? Where else can you get into mischief and not get into trouble at all?
Grandma tries scaring Mo Shen Ma about wild tigers. They are hiding by nearby mountains, so if he’s naughty, then the tigers will eat him.
There are a ton of animals living by Grandma and Grandpa’s house. There are lots of animals with funny names such as, Hurricane Hog ,a meddlesome dog and a black and white dog who they have to give food on a stick to because he/she stays in a tree and never comes down. The only way it comes down is if Mo’s grandparents’ neighbor, Bat Ears’ parents lets his black and white cat come over!
It will sure take a long time for Grandma and Grandpa to recover from not seeing their “precious” grandson, Mo. Mo still hasn’t meet his match on this vacation! Yet!
I laughed through all these funny adventures. I like having a kid who is as adventurous as me being the main character in this story. “Mo’s Mischief: Pesky Monkeys” by Hongying Yang is the third book in the “Mo’s Mischief” series. It’s easy to see why the “Mo’s Mischief” series is such a hit in China. I think kids ages 7-10 will fall in love with these books. Who can resist reading a book about a kid finding trouble at every turn?
