This is an imaginative story, located in a crystal water globe, about a young girl who lives in a castle and works as a maid. The main character, Marillia had been swimming in the forbidden waters. The evil crows gave word of this to the Princess. After Marillia had been done swimming, the Princess gave her a punishment by switching places for one day. There is a Prince coming to visit the castle. They had lunch and a boat ride together. She enjoyed being a Princess and she even told the Prince that she wasn’t really a Princess. During their boat ride a giant whirlpool appeared and the two were separated.
My favorite part is the ending, which I cannot share with you! I bet it will be your favorite part too. I think this would be a really good play to see. The story of “Marillia” by Melanie C. Rodas is full of adventures and drama.
