In “Marigold and the Missing Firefly,” the main characters of the book are Marigold and Rose, who are fairies.  This is the story of Marigold’s new pet firefly, Flash.  In the end of the story, Rose learns that it is important to look closely at things.

Marigold got the firefly as a gift from her family.  One night Flash flew outside where Rose was practicing fairy transforming.  Rose transformed Flash after she thought he was a stick.  He turned into a box that looked like him.  After a couple of days the fairies figured out that Flash was the box. Then Rose transformed him back and they had a celebration.

My favorite part of “Marigold and the Missing Firefly” by Suzanne Williams is the sparkly cover on the front because I like sparkles.  I also like that it was about fairies.  I like to play fairies with my friends.

I would like to read more about all the fairies!  They are fun and cool!
