I really like the artwork; it’s very pretty. My favorite picture is the sisters eating pancakes shaped like animals! The dog park is another favorite picture. I liked the pages with the hopscotch that their Dad drew with sidewalk chalk.
This is a story about two sisters and their Dad. They had a fun day doing lots of stuff with him. I thought it seemed fun when they got ice cream after the visiting the dog park and had a tea party with Dad. The tickle monster was really funny; Daddy sometimes is the tickle monster too! I think it would be fun to have a picnic at night in our backyard like they did in the story in “It’s the Best Day Ever, Dad!” by Brooke Shields.
