Cayden: “In this book, there is a buffalo and he goes to Kindergarten. I am going to Kindergarten next year but I don’t think that there will be a buffalo there. He could hardly fit through the door in the picture in the book! I liked when the buffalo was outside for recess and when they played hide and seek some of the kids hid behind him as a hiding spot. Some of the book was kind of weird though. I don’t really think that people would have a buffalo at school. My favorite picture was when he made a painting (and a mess).”

“Is Your Buffalo Ready for Kindergarten?” takes a creative look at the first day of Kindergarten. Through the buffalo’s adventures we learn what a student may expect when they start school. I thought the book was unique and would be a fun one to read to a preschooler to help prepare them for that big day.
