Cars are confusing. Sure, drivers ed covered the basics in class but what happens when you’re out on the road and find a problem with your car? Can you really remember all that seemingly boring information when you really need it? “In the Driver’s Seat” is a great book to keep in a new teen driver’s car. It covers all the basics including car selection, maintenance, and common troubleshooting. The information is up-to-date and easy to read. Pink accents and illustrations throughout the pages keep the book female-friendly.
Anything from changing tires to winterizing your car can be found among the pages and pages of information. I believe any teen driver should have a copy in their car for emergency situations. I always keep my copy in reach when I’m driving just in case something happens. This book is extremely helpful and isn’t something to pass up. If you want to help your teen to be as prepared as possible, buy them “In the Driver’s Seat.” You won’t regret it.
