“I’ll Always Be with You” by Violetta Armour is the story about a family’s tragic loss of their father and husband, Stan. His death happened in the worst way possible, as his son Teddy was the one behind the wheel, and thus his guilt was unbearable. Yet, Stan’s tragic horrible death is not just the end of the life they all new until then; it also the beginning of a new one when Stan’s widow, Mary decides to move the family to Stan’s home town to be close to his mother and the rest of their relatives. Once in his Grandmother’s home, Teddy finds an old book in the attic, which helps him to begin healing as he discovers his Bulgarian ancestors. In the meantime, Mary picks up all the broken pieces and begins her new life in a new town with a new job. She will also discover her dead husband’s past, and a side of him she never imagined when she meets Rosetta.

Violetta Armour is an awesome writer. I must admit that at first, I had to get used to jumping from the different points of view from each character, but once I did, I was hooked until the end. Armour enabled me as the reader, to see, live, and feel what each character was going through. This allowed  me to experience the story on more than one dimension, not only visualizing what was happening, but actually transporting me inside the brain and heart of each character as they experienced their lives. I had never read any other book that produced that effect, a testament to just how well written this book is, and how amazing is the author’s style.

I definitely recommend as a five-star book “I’ll Always Be with You” by Violetta Armour to all young adults who love awesome real life stories that will touch them for life! An inspiring, heart wrenching and heartwarming read!
