“If You Were Me and Lived in Egypt” by Carole P. Roman, is the story about one of the oldest countries on Earth, located in both continents of Africa and Asia. The capital, Cairo, was built on the Nile River, and is the largest city of the Middle East.

Your name would have been Youseff, Salma, or Fatima if you were the youngest sister. Calling “Ummi” to your mom and “Baba” to your dad. The currency that is used is the Egyptian pound.

One of the places to visit is the Pyramids of Giza, being one of the great wonders of the world built by the pharaohs in the ancient times.

Their special and most popular dish is Kushari, which is made with only vegetables and pasta, or spicy meatballs called Kofta and for dessert, the Roz be Laban, which is similar to the rice pudding. You would learn how to play Senet, a game that was played in the ancient times.

You will be fascinated by all the great things you will have if you lived in Egypt. Love this series, they teach you great things.
