“Homework Helpster Grade 5” helps kids with their school.  It has about 200 pages and it goes over math, language arts, science, and social studies for 5th grade.  Each section covers the major ideas for that subject.  It is very easy to read and includes pictures and diagrams that help you understand what they are trying to teach you.

I like how it explains each lesson because it was easy to understand.  I like the social studies section because it talked about geography, U.S. government, and gave lots of information on U.S. History.  The math section went over number sense and operations, measurement, geometry, algebra, data analysis and probability, and problem solving.  The language arts section covered spelling, vocabulary, grammar, punctuation, reading, and writing.  The science section talked about life science, earth science, and physical science.  My favorite section was social studies because that is my favorite subject in school.  It gave detailed information about U.S. History.

I would recommend this book for 5th grade students who need help with their homework.  I would also recommend this book for students going into 5th grade.  It would give them a good head start for their 5th grade year.  I think that students who use “Homework Helpster Grade 5” will have a better and easier time in school.
