This book is full of great poems that make me laugh. Most of the poems are about school, but there is one about “True Love,” a nice poem about a girl and her kitty.
Some of my favorite poems are “Spelling Bee” and “Measles.” The “Spelling Bee” poem taught me how to spell “TARANTULA!” It also made me get up and jump like the girl in the poem.
This was kind of easy for me to read. I have already read this book two times this week!
Parent Comment:
Initially I wasn’t sure if my youngest would enjoy this book of poems. To my surprise she enjoyed reading them and had fun with the varying tempos and subject matter in “Hamsters, Shells, and Spelling Bees School Poems.”
