“God’s Promise” is a good book for children because it teaches us about God’s love.  I really liked the art work and the story. My favorite part of the book was when “Angelina” was in Heaven with the little girl angels. The girls were dancing and singing and having fun with “Angelina” before she was born to her new family on Earth. It made me feel happy when God told the Mother that she was having a baby girl.

Parent Comment:
Madeline enjoyed the dialogue between the little girl and God. “Angelina” would ask God questions and he would answer her with love and comfort. There are many opportunities for role-playing and thought-provoking discussion. It is a wonderful reminder about the love that God has for all his children. “God’s Promise” by Maureen Moss will warm your heart and may even bring some tears to your eyes.
