Who would have known the Obama family’s lives were so amazing! The White House has 132 rooms including a bowling alley, a movie theater, tennis court, putting green, and even an outside swimming pool! In addition to the 132 rooms there are 35 bathrooms! The White House is so big! In this book you can learn many facts about the Obama family and how they live. I also learned that wherever Malia and Sasha go, the secret service goes with them. I never knew the life of a president’s daughter could be so interesting.

The artwork is very good and I really like the paintings. My favorite picture is the two daughters Malia and Sasha with their dog Bo. Families would love to read “First Family” by Deborah Hopkinson if they love President Obama and his family. Everyone would love this book full of facts, pictures, and many more things!
