I learned a bunch of new words in this silly book about girls. My favorite words in the story are on the “G” page: Gorgeous and Glamorous. My Mom says that I am gorgeous. The book says that so-in-so is glamorous. I also like the “D” word “Dapper.” I told my Dad he was “diaper” today and he laughed. I had to show him the page so he would understand; that made him laugh more! I also like to say the “O” word “Ooh la la!”  This is another way of saying something is fancy. This book makes me laugh.

“Fancy Nancy’s Favorite Words: From Accessories to Zany” by Jane O’Connor is a great idea for a book, endless possibilities; maybe the author will write more. Great illustrations of adorable little girls all dressed up. Lots of fun with vocabulary!
