This book, “Curious Critters,” is about learning new things about animals and having fun while doing it! Some animals you may not even have heard of or seen yet.

My favorite animal in the book was the goldfish, because the picture was too funny. Some pictures were scary and some were a little weird. For example, the bushy katydid is pink – that’s right, pink! The eastern spiny soft shell turtle has a weird mouth; it’s like a bill or something like that.

I also like the southern flying squirrel, the big brown bat, the black swallowtail butterfly, and so many others. My most favorite is the Chinese praying mantis. My favorite kind of animals is marsupials; my favorite kind of marsupial is the koala.

“Curious Critters” is an awesome book with giant pictures! Everyone will love it.
