Madeline: This is a helpful book for young kids to learn about money. They can learn how to save some, spend some and give some to charity. My favorite part of the book was when Max talked about a lemonade stand. I want to have a lemonade stand and a snack stand at our next neighborhood garage sale. I also got some ideas about how to earn extra money around the house. It made me think about other ways to get money, like selling toys or books that we don’t use anymore. I liked the whole book; it was fun to read and the drawings are good too.

Sophia: My favorite part of the book is when they play money games at school. “Can I Have Some Money?” by Candi Sparks is a good book that tells about money. I like money! This book made me want to shop! But first you have to get money by selling stuff or doing chores. I would like to have a fruit punch stand. Max is funny. The pictures are good too.
