“Buenas Noches, Luna” is the Spanish translation of “Goodnight Moon.”
Cayden: “I like the book ‘Goodnight Moon.’ It was fun to read it and listen to the CD in Spanish. I learned some new Spanish words. I knew what they were saying because I know all of the words to the book ‘Goodnight Moon.’”
Max: “I liked to turn the page when it made the ringing sound. I can say ‘Buenas Noches,’ that is good night!”
Parent’s comments:
My children know the book ‘Goodnight Moon’ by heart. Because of this, “Buenas Noches, Luna” by Margaret Wise Brown is the perfect book for them to read and listen to on CD in order to help them learn a little more Spanish. They know all of the English words, so it is easy for them to understand the Spanish equivalent on each page. I also liked the plastic book and CD case for the set as it helps to ensure that the CD won’t get scratched. “Buenas Noches, Luna” would be a great book both for those who want to learn Spanish as a second language and for those who speak Spanish as their primary language.
