In “Bodie & The Burnt Orange Sunset” there is a longhorn named Bodie.  When he was born there was a burnt orange color sunset which it said means that he would be famous.  When he was little everyone pushed him around, but then he got big.

They were right, he got to be famous.  I never saw the football team that he is the mascot for, but I know that he is like Bucky Badger for the Wisconsin Badgers.  I saw Bucky when I went to a football game.  It sounds like they have a real longhorn at the Texas football games.  That would be cool!  I learned that the mascot’s name is Bevo. The book said that Bodie and Bevo are the same.  My favorite picture in “Bodie & The Burnt Orange Sunset” is the one of him at the football game.
