Cayden: “Biscuit has been in a lot of books. I can’t believe that he has never gone anywhere before and that this is his first trip! Trips are fun. We like looking out the windows on the way too and we like stopping to take breaks. I like that they went sledding and that they went on a sleigh ride with a horse pulling it. We did that before too, except the sleigh that we went on had two horses pulling it. I like to read Biscuit books because I know a lot of the words.”

Like my son, I am happy that Biscuit finally got to go on his first trip! Biscuit and his family did a lot of the same things that we do on trips so my son could relate to “Biscuit’s First Trip” by Alyssa Satin Capucilli. Once again, we enjoyed Biscuit’s adventure. Capucilli’s Biscuit books are consistently high quality and you won’t go wrong by choosing to read this newest installment in the series!
