“Biscuit’s First Sleepover” is another fun book in the Biscuit series.  In this book, Biscuit goes on a sleepover with his owner to his friend Puddles’ house.  After playing a lot of games and having lots of fun, it is time to go to sleep but Biscuit needs some of the familiarities of home first.

Cayden:  “Look!  Biscuit has another dog friend!”

Max:  “Woof!  Woof!”

Cayden:  “They are going to sleep at those people’s house.  Biscuit brought his bone!”

Max:  “Treat!”

Max:  “Pull! Pull!”

Cayden:  “If they keep pulling on those blankets they are going to rip!”

Cayden:  “It is funny that one dog always says ‘Bow wow!” and the other one always says ‘Woof! Woof!”

Cayden:  “I wished on a star before once too.”

Max: “Dogs sleep! ”

Parent’s comments:
My children enjoy Biscuit books and “Biscuit’s First Sleepover” was no exception.  They always love copying Biscuit when he says “Woof! Woof!” on each page.  In this book with the other dog saying “Bow wow!” they both really got into it.  One was pretending to be Biscuit and the other was pretending to be Puddles.  As always, the illustrations are engaging and fun and the storyline was simple yet interesting for my children.
