In “Biscuit’s Earth Day Celebration” we follow Biscuit on Earth Day as he takes steps to help take care of the world.

Cayden: “We learned a lot of things at school that Biscuit learned in the book. A man just came to our school and told us about saving water and you always tell us not to waste water from the bathroom. The girl told Biscuit the same thing! I liked when they gave the birds stuff to make nests with. Biscuit gave him a stick! We plant a garden like they did too! They do lots of the same things that we do. My favorite picture was when Biscuit shook water off of himself.”

Parent’s comments:

In the age of “going green,” “Biscuit’s Earth Day Celebration” by Alyssa Satin Capucilli is the perfect book to introduce children to ways in which they can conserve and help to protect the Earth. This would be a great book to read to a preschool class this upcoming Earth Day!
