This book is about baseball memorabilia. It shows stuff that people who love baseball collect. Collectors collect baseball cards, trophies, gloves, shirts, and many other things. The book includes baseball treasures that many people have not seen before. It is interesting to read, because it also has photographs that show you what the author is talking about. The author writes about the history behind the items and gives tips on how readers can become collectors. For example, one of the rarest cards is the Honus Wagner card; it was issued by the Tobacco Company between 1909 and 1911.
My favorite section is the trophy collections. I liked looking at the World Series rings won by the New York Yankees. “Baseball Treasures” is great for kids who love baseball, or for anyone interested in collecting baseball memorabilia.
