“Andi’s Circle C Christmas” is another great book in the “Circle C Beginning” series for 6-8 year olds. Andi is used to wearing clothes that give her the freedom to be on a farm and when bossy Aunt Rebecca comes for Christmas, she wants Andi to learn to be a lady. Aunt Rebecca bosses everyone and it makes Andi mad. But when Aunt Rebecca and Andi go to a tea party, the carriage breaks down and now Andi is in charge.

Zoey:

I love reading “Circle C” books; they are so much fun to read. Like most of us kids, we don’t like to be bossed around by adults; we want them to listen to us. Andi’s Aunt Rebecca is very bossy and wants her to dress more girly. Andi has to learn to not talk back and pray away evil thoughts for her aunt. One day when they were going to a tea party, the buggy loses a wheel and Andi decides she will be boss. Andi makes Aunt Rebecca get on the horse and ride home with her. In the end, they all have a great Christmas and Andi and Aunt Rebecca become friends. I liked that the adult finally listened to a child and found out that kids do have smarts.

Nana:

Zoey loves reading the “Circle C” series. There are always problems to be encountered and, through the help of God and prayer, there is always a good ending. This series is great at helping children learn to problem solve – “Andi’s Circle C Christmas” is another fine example of this.
