This is a good history book for kids to learn about all the things George Washington Carver did for Americans. I thought this book was a little hard to read; there is a lot of text. I already knew some things about him and what he discovered about peanuts, but there was a lot of new stuff I never heard of before – like he wanted to be an artist. I thought that was really neat because I do too. I really liked the pictures a lot in “A Man for All Seasons: The Life of George Washington Carver” by Stephen Krensky.
