This is a story about a girl name Hannah and her best friend Brandon. They visit each other every day after school. They both love to pretend they’re on adventures all the time. Brandon doesn’t like playing Hannah’s games all the time; he would rather watch TV instead. All of their adventures include the neighbor kids they call the “triplets.” They aren’t really triplets, but they are brothers and sisters. The triplets keep stealing Hannah’s cat Buttercup, so the story is about them trying to get the cat back.

My favorite adventure was when Hannah and Brandon were playing vampires. I liked it because it was kind of silly that they were pretending that Buttercup was a vampire cat and they used onions all around the room.

I thought “A Girl, a Boy, and Three Robbers” by Gail Gauthier was interesting because they went on many different adventures.
