Cayden:

“This book is about a bird who is wearing red swimming trunks. The book shows birds
wearing all different kinds of clothes. That would be cool if I looked out into our yard by our bird feeders and saw a bird wearing those! I think that would be really funny! This book made me laugh. The best picture was the one where the three birds were on the roof wearing a sweater, vest and raincoat!”

Parent’s comments:

“A Bird in a Bathing Suit” is a creative, humorous book. My son loved the idea of birds wearing clothes. More importantly, the book also taught the important lesson that we should not make fun of others for being different. We enjoyed this cute story and my son had a great time using his imagination to think of other things birds could wear.
