On “Justin Wilson’s Cajun Fables” audio CD, Wilson takes classic Mother Goose nursery rhymes and adds a little Cajun flair to them.

Cayden:  “I knew the stories the man was telling us but they were different.  There was the story with Goldilocks and also there was the story of The Three Little Pigs, but they had different things in them like crawfish and stuff.  They were funny stories though!  Sometimes I had a little trouble figuring out what the man was saying but I liked it and I liked the music.”

“Justin Wilson’s Cajun Fables” is a creative and entertaining take on the classic tales that we all know.  As my son said, in the beginning, we had a hard time understanding some of what was being said, as some of the pronunciations are not ones that we are used to hearing and the narration is very fast-paced.  However, as the CD progressed the words became much clearer to us as we became accustomed to it.  We enjoyed the listening experience and the authenticity and the cleverness of the stories!
