I am a huge fan of jokes, so I was really looking forward to this book. I liked the artwork in this book, but I didn’t really like the jokes.  I thought this joke was funny: “Knock Knock? Who’s there? Goblin! Goblin Who? Goblin up too much candy can give you a tummy ache!” My least favorite joke was: “Knock Knock? Who's there? Boo! Boo who? Don’t worry Halloween will come next year!” The artwork of the kid’s costumes was funny and kind of freaky. My favorite picture was the cover with the cat laughing!

I think that kids younger than me would like “Halloween Howlers: Frightfully Funny Knock-Knock Jokes.”

Editor's Note:  The book indicates ages 4-8 as the target readers.  From this 8-year old it appears the book is more suitable for the younger readers in the age range.
