“Pets Go Pop!” instantly grabbed my children’s attention from the moment they saw it.  They loved the 3-D pop-up animals and fought over who got to turn the next page in order to make the animals pop up.  The text in the book is extremely basic but in a book of this kind, where the main focus is on the pop-up animals, that is okay.

Cayden:  “I like books like this where things pop up when you turn the page!  I really liked the giraffe page.  He was super tall!  I also liked where the dogs were on leashes.  This book is easy to read.  I read it to Max after you read it to me only one time.  I liked the poster that came with it.  It was fun trying to find the things that they said to find on it.”

Max:  “I liked the school bus with all of the animals in it and the elephant spraying water!  I liked all the animals when they pop out of the book!”

“Pets Go Pop!” by Bob Staake is a fun read.
