“Wolves” by Seymour Simon is a great and interesting 31-page book with fabulous pictures. The book tells about how wolves survive in nature and how they live in packs and that in order to survive they have to help each other out.  They hunt together and babysit for each other’s pups.  They like to play, and they like to hide and then jump out and startle each other.  

The photographs were very good!  There was a full-page picture on every other page.  One of my favorites was of a wolf chewing on moose antlers, and you can see the wolf’s teeth really well.  Another of my favorites was a photo of a wolf den full of pups.  I really wonder how someone took that picture.  There is one photo where it looks like the pups actually posed for the photo.  The wolves are very beautiful and cuddle-able (but only in some of the pictures).   There are some snarling pictures that make them look fierce, too.

I would recommend this book to people of all ages who love animals and nature.  Even kids who can’t read yet would really enjoy looking at the pictures in this book.  I loved “Wolves” by Seymour Simon.
