Freaky Monday
“Freaky Monday” is a book I could read over and over again. I say this because this book is trying to make a point that every so often you should just go with the flow and, the way the authors do, it never gets old. In this book Hadley Fox doesn’t like her teacher, because she never sticks to the lesson plans. So then, in the middle of Hadley’s oral presentation, Hadley and Ms. Pitt switch places! And, of all days they could of switched places, it was the day that Hadley’s sister, Tatum, has a crisis, Ms. Pitt has a meeting with the principal, and the first Monday dance! My favorite part would probably be when there was a meeting to see whether or not Ms. Pitt should be chairman of the English department, because Hadley was in her body for the meeting and was saying stuff like “she” when Ms. Pitt would of said “I.” I think that if Mary Rodgers and Heather Hach want to write another book together they should. I would read it. If they were to, it should be about similar things to this book -- like two people should switch places, but maybe for longer so that they could come up with more dilemmas. In conclusion, I really liked this book, and I’m probably not the only person that does. So if you’re a somewhat normal girl between the ages of 9 and 13 and you trust me, a somewhat normal girl between the ages of 9 and 13 you should read “Freaky Monday” by Mary Rodgers and Heather Hach. |
