This book had lots of words I didn’t know before.  It is because they are surfers and they say different things like ‘bodacious’ and ‘cruisemobile.’  There is a Glossary in the back of the book though that tells what all of the words mean.  I didn’t see it until I finished reading the book and then I went back and read it again and looked up all of the words that I didn’t know what they meant.

I liked the picture in the book when the dog took Dude’s burrito and ate it!  I liked the story of “Dude: Fun with Dude and Betty.” I don’t know much about surfing because people don’t surf by us.  Maybe sometime when we go by an ocean I can see people surfing for real.
