Daniel Partner’s “Bible Devotions for Bedtime” is simple and fun to read.  Each Bible story is two short pages.  The font is large.  The illustrations are bright and large. 

Each story begins with a short Bible verse that is expanded upon.  At the end is a line or two of a related prayer. 

There are no denominational overtones.  This is strictly Biblical.  Both the New Testament and Old Testament are used for these Bible stories. 

Parish loved the Noah’s Ark illustrations.  The stories were short enough to keep her attention.  Isaac flipped through the book many times to look at the illustrations.  When I asked Parish if she wanted to give the book away, she said she wanted to keep it.  This is recommended.
