This is a wonderful book about talking to God anytime you want to say things you are thankful for and for asking for help for others. The illustrations are bright and colorful.

Zoey:

“I liked this book. I only thought you prayed at dinner and bedtime. This is new to me- praying. I had to learn what and how to pray. I know if I get mad at my mom or others I can pray and ask to be nicer. My friend is very sick and she has been in the hospital. I can ask God to make her better. I like that I can talk to someone when I want to if my mommy or grandparents aren’t around. Sometimes kids have things they want to say, but don’t want to say it to their parent.”

Nana:

Zoey is really into learning about God and how the world came about. She has many things to say about her friends and family. She still is trying to figure out where God is and lives- so she asks him daily numerous questions.  “That’s When I Talk to God” reinforces talking to God anytime you want to
