Remy the Rhino Learns Patience (Little Lessons from Our Animal Pals)
Madison: “The rhino got mad and the other animals didn’t like him much. He got stuck in a tree. The termites had to eat the tree to get him out. He got stuck because he was mad and ran after the other animal and ran into a tree. He was stuck for a long time. At the end he was nicer and happy. I liked this book because the rhino got stuck! It was funny” Mom: This is a wonderful lesson in patience. It clearly shows how others being impatient can harm their friends and family. No one wants to be around an impatient person. The story of “Remy the Rhino Learns Patience” is cute and funny and helps to explain why patience is important. Both of my daughters really enjoyed this book. It captured their attention and held it. Even days after reading, Madison was able to recall what happened in the book and why she liked it. My two-year-old asked, “What’s that” to all the animals. She was very interested in the illustrations. We really enjoy reading this book together and discussing the topic of patience. |
